Matt Sydal Reveals He Dislocated His Knee And Is Recovering

Pro wrestling veteran and current AEW Star Matt Sydal, who competed in promotions such as ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, NJPW and WWE prior to signing with All Elite Wrestling this past November 17, 2020 took to his Twitter account and thanked every one for greeting him on his birthday, while also revealing that he dislocated his knee, but that there were no tears in his ACL or PCL and he is recovering and he’ll be back better than ever.

Sydal, who last competed for AEW on the February 16th episode of Dark: Elevation, when he teamed with Brock Anderson, Frankie Kazarian, Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson to defeat the team of Cezar Bononi, J.D. Drake, Luther, Serpentico and Peter Avalon in a 10-Man Tag Team Match, has held several championships in numerous wrestling companies such as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title, the ROH World Tag Team Title, the WWE Tag Team Title, the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship and the IMPACT X Division Championship.
