Mexican AEW Star Vary Morales Tests Positive For COVID-19

According to Superluchas.com, Mexican AEW Star Vary Morales, who just debuted for the promotion a few weeks ago, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Morales noted that he’s fine, he’s eating healthy, and being an athlete helps him a lot in this process. Vary Morales also said that he’ll be in quarantine for 2 weeks and after that time, he will be back in the game.

This is what Vary Morales said:

“I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m fine, eating healthy and being an athlete helps me a lot in this process… I will be in quarantine for 2 weeks and after that time I will be back in the game… see you soon”

This means that Vary Morales will be out of in-ring action for the next few weeks, and will be making his return most probably by next month.

Vary Morales, who was born in Ciudad Juárez, made his AEW debut on the December 17th episode of Dark, where he was defeated by Rey Fénix. Morales has since been competing on AEW Dark regularly and has up to six matches currently.

Vary Morales has had an 11-year career in pro wrestling, which began in 2009. In 2012, he went to the Arena México to train, however, he could not support himself and returned to his native Ciudad Juárez where he continued to fight for his dream.

In 2015, he received the opportunity of a lifetime to work in Denver, Colorado, where he joined Mucha Lucha Atlanta. From there, he started to gain a little bit of popularity and has now made a name for himself in the United States.
