Miro Says Ben Carter Has Officially Signed With The WWE

As previously reported, Ben Carter, who is one of the biggest stars in the indie wrestling scene, has AEW, IMPACT Wrestling, and even the WWE showing major interest in signing him to a contract ever since he wrestled stars such as Ricky Starks, Lee Johnson and even Scorpio Sky in All Elite Wrestling a number of months ago.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select recently reported that WWE made a huge move by trying to sign Ben Carter to a contract with their NXT UK brand. Sapp also mentioned that Ben Carter noted in the past that due to his residential status in the U.S., he worked his matches in AEW for free, but if he was to sign with NXT UK, he would have no such issues.

AEW Star Miro (F.K.A Rusev in WWE) recently took to his Twitch stream and said that Carter has officially signed with the WWE. Miro also seemed disappointed when he said that Carter has gone to the dark side and that they lost him. Miro then wished good luck to Carter and said that he was really impressed with Carter’s stuff.

Ben Carter reportedly trained at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, a wrestling school run by WWE Friday Night SmackDown Superstar Seth Rollins and independent wrestling veteran Marek Brave.
