MJF Discusses WWE, Tony Khan, And Others After AEW Dynamite

After the 11/16 “AEW Dynamite” episode ended, MJF praised AEW President Tony Khan for creating “an alternative” in the world of pro wrestling and giving wrestlers like himself a chance to be on national television.
“This man right here [Tony Khan] busts his ass week in and week out to give not just you, but all the boys in the back an opportunity to show the world how much we love professional wrestling,” an ecstatic MJF told fans at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, while sharing the ring with Khan.

Professional wrestling is a monopoly without AEW,” MJF said later in his speech. Don’t get me wrong – I love WWE, believe me, I love WWE; however, hear me out, hear me out, your favorite wrestlers don’t get paid and don’t eat properly unless Tony Khan makes that alternative.

“And now I’ll finish [my speech] with more honesty. Tony, I’ll just be honest with you: I’m carrying this goddamn place on my back! If I were you, I’d pay top dollar in the 2024 bidding war. Connecticut, you crazy mother—-ers had better buy this pay-per-view to see history being made because MJF is taking home the gold!”

Earlier in his speech, MJF appeared to take a shot at CM Punk, stating that he will no longer tolerate “someone coming into my company, dropping trow, and taking a dump,” as he addressed “a lot of bull—t that has gone on” in AEW in recent months.
