Moxley Challenges NJPW’s Yuji Nagata To IWGP US Title Match

Top AEW Star and current IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley has welcomed all comers ever since he won the IWGP United States Title. Jon Moxley last defended his IWGP United States Title against KENTA at NJPW’s New Beginning Strong Event on Friday, February 26th, but the match was taped last December.

During a recent promo video, the AEW Star made it perfectly clear who he wants as his next challenger for his IWGP United States Title. Moxley revealed on his promo that he wants NJPW Star Yuji Nagata to face him for his IWGP United States Championship as the All Elite Wrestling Star is collecting scalps and has even made his intentions clear that he wants to go big game hunting once he won the title. He also noted that he plans to go after the hardest hitters in the game. Jon Moxley then ended his promo by telling Nagata to t“grab his six-shooter” and meet him “outside the saloon at dawn.”

Yuji Nagata made his NJPW debut back in 1992 and he is a two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Yuji has also won the 2001 G1 Climax Tournament.
