Moxley To Defend AEW World Title Against Cage At Fyter Fest

As previously reported, this past Saturday night’s AEW Double Or Nothing PPV Event saw the debut of former Lucha Underground and IMPACT Wrestling Star Brian Cage. Brian Cage was the mystery participant as well as the final participant in the Casino Ladder Match and would eventually come out of the match with a victory to earn a future shot at Jon Moxley’s AEW World Title.

Moxley retained his AEW World Title at this past Saturday night’s PPV against “The Exalted One” Brodie Lee by choking him out and forcing the referee to put a stop to the match. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan took part in a media scrum following the PPV and confirmed the AEW World Title Match between AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Brian Cage. Khan also said that the match will take place at Fyter Fest. Tony Khan then noted that more details will be announced on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
