This past Sunday night’s AEW All Out PPV Event saw Jungle Boy face Christian Cage in a Singles Match, but “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry was attacked from behind by Luchasaurus even before the match started and was choke slammed on top of a steel stage. Luchasaurus then lifted Jungle Boy and threw him inside of the ring only for Christian Cage to hit his finisher and score the pinfall victory over Jungle Boy in quick fashion.
Christian Cage won the match in this manner as he is injured and he was even seen sporting a brace on his arm during this past Sunday night’s match. Jungle Boy even alluded to the fact on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night that Christian Cage is getting his surgery done.
Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that Christian Cage is also expected to be out of action for 6-8 months due to a torn triceps, a similar injury that CM Punk is dealing with.
This is what Dave Meltzer said:
“His injury may be the exact same injury as Punk so we’re talking again like an eight-month-ish, six-to-nine month of being out.”
