News On How Long AEW Will Run Shows From Daily’s Place

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started and affected all live sports events including pro wrestling, AEW has been running shows from inside their home base, Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

This venue has provided AEW a safe space to run their live events, previously without a live audience, and currently with a limited number of fans.

A discussion was started on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program of when AEW will be moving out of Daily’s Place, if it does happen, but it looks like AEW will be staying in the venue for the “foreseeable future.”

It was noted that AEW President and CEO Tony Khan is not sure that fans will start coming back to shows immediately after things become better at some point next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dave Meltzer even speculated that if WWE began their touring as well as their house shows and then do sell out, then maybe that would change things, but AEW is not looking to rush things anytime soon.

AEW’s next three weeks of shows that will be taking place from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida will start with this week’s Holiday Bash edition of Dynamite airing immediately after the NBA’s game.

The following two weeks will then be the first and second night of AEW’s New Year’s Smash editions of Dynamite, where will we see AEW World Champion Kenny Omega vs. Rey Fenix on December 30th.
