Next Week’s Dynamite Will Feature Women’s Title Match, More

Last night’s Homecoming episode of AEW Dynamite saw AEW Women’s World Champion Riho retain her AEW Women’s World Title against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D, Hikaru Shida and Nyla Rose in a Women’s Division Four-Way Match. A backstage segment would then take place later on in the show where Riho was interviewed about her match against Kris Statlander on next week’s show, which means that Riho will be defending her AEW Women’s World Title against the #1 Contender Kris Statlander.

Another backstage segment also took place during last night’s AEW Dynamite where Sammy Guevara talked some trash to Christopher Daniels, asking him what he has besides some wrinkles on his face. Guevara would then say that maybe Daniels doesn’t have it anymore with all those L’s on his record. This backstage altercation is what made their match on next week’s episode of Dynamite official.

Also announced for next week’s show are Cody and Dustin Rhodes vs. The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.), Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) vs. Hangman Page and Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley will be giving his answer about possibly joining the Inner Circle and a tribute to the Legends of Memphis Wrestling.

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is set to take place from the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.
