AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT Wrestling EVP, who is also Omega’s close personal friend as well as somewhat his on-screen manager, Don Callis continues to make history as well as headlines all throughout the pro wrestling world with their continuous appearances on both AEW and IMPACT Wrestling television.
Their appearances on both AEW and IMPACT Wrestling continue to tease all the possible matchups their partnership can bring and the excitement and imagination of all wrestling fans, as well as the talents, have been at an all-time high. Kenny Omega and Don Callis’ most recent appearance on IMPACT Wrestling was on the company’s Final Resolution PPV event, which took place last night.
Earlier on the PPV, IMPACT Wrestling backstage correspondent Gia Miller attempted to get a quick word with the AEW World Champion, but Callis spoke on behalf of Omega and informed her that they were only there to “reunite with family.” Prior to the co-main event, “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson reunited with his former Bullet Club partner, who was the leader of the faction at the time, Kenny Omega.
The segment saw the former Bullet Club members go down memory lane as they talked about their time in NJPW. Karl Anderson then informed Kenny Omega that he had a match to get ready for and that match was against Ethan Page. As Anderson was about to leave, Kenny Omega and Don Callis challenged Anderson to show the world his “Machine Gun” side. The match saw Anderson do just that when he left Page out cold with his Gun Stun for the victory.
It is interesting to note that IMPACT Wrestling commentators Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne hinted at a possible Bullet Club reunion, which is something fans have wanted to see for a really long time now both in WWE and now in AEW. Omega and Callis are set to make their returns at this Tuesday’s IMPACT’s show, but there is no word yet on what the AEW World Champion and his manager have planned.
