Omega Wins Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch At Revolution

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega successfully retained his AEW World Title last night at the Revolution PPV in an Exploding Barber Wire Deathmatch. This brutal showdown between Omega and Moxley saw both of the top AEW Stars get thrown into the three sides of the ring ropes that were wrapped in barbed wire.

Towards the end of the match, the Good Brothers made their way down to ringside and helped Omega pick up the win. Omega then hit his one winged angel finishing move on Moxley on top of a chair to finally defeat the challenger.

After the match, Moxley gets handcuffed and beaten to a pulp by Omega and the Good Brothers. The time on the 30-minute countdown then began to wind off as Moxley was left alone in the ring. Kingston then made his way down to the ring to try and protect Moxley, but he couldn’t get to him on time and Eddie Kingston just covered Jon Moxley. When the timer ended, the “huge” explosion at the end was sparklers on the four ring posts, followed by smaller explosions on each side of the ring. The audience was not thrilled with the explosions and boos started raining down as the PPV came to a close.
