Potential Spoiler On Saraya’s Tag Partner For Next Week’s Dynamite

According to Fightful Select, they have spoken to a number of AEW talent and were told that they have been “no sold” when asked if former WWE Star Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) is the mystery person making an appearance next week on AEW Dynamite to team with Saraya. It was also noted on the report that the fact that the rumors were not shot down by AEW officials, including Tony Khan, who has done so in the past, has people in the company assuming that Saraya’s tag partner will be none other than Mercedes.

Fightful Select also reported that some writers in the WWE were caught off guard by the news that The Boss will appear at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 and even though Sasha’s NJPW deal was done in principle in November of last year, one writer in the WWE was under the impression that the promotion will have Sasha Banks back by the 2023 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, but ever since news broke in regards to Banks’ appearance in NJPW as well as AEW, the WWE source has not heard anything else on that front.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has given hints on previous debuts and appearances just like what was done with CM Punk and Bryan Danielson, but no hints have been given that Sasha Banks could be the tag partner of Saraya, though a reason behind that is they can’t drop any hints until after Mercedes Moné officially became a free agent.
