Reason AEW Star Ivelisse Has Not Been Used On AEW TV Lately

For months now, AEW Star Ivelisse has not been used on AEW TV and it turns out there is a huge reason why that is the case. Dave Meltzer mentioned on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ivelisse was recently asked about her status with AEW and she said that if only she could speak.

Meltzer also revealed that Ivelisse has been working for AEW on a per-event deal, and not a full-time contract. There was also a mention of Ivelisse having an issue with “a few” AEW coaches, and that she is not being booked right now, but that doesn’t mean that she has parted ways with the company.

This is what Dave Meltzer said:

“The story was there was an issue with her and ‘a few’ coaches and she’s not being booked right now, but it’s not like she’s been let go either at this point.”

One fan took to Twitter and wrote that he believed Ivelisse was gone from the company, which a second fan respond to and agreed with, but Ivelisse said that it isn’t true. Another fan then said that it’s about time for Ivelisse to crack the AEW Women’s Division top 5 ranking list, to which she responded, “Technically shoulda been a long time ago according to win % which is what it go by”

Ivelisse’s last match for the promotion took place on the February 24th episode of AEW Dark, when she teamed with Diamante in a losing effort against KiLynn King and Red Velvet and she had her last match on Dynamite on the December 16th show, teaming with Diamante in a losing effort against Big Swole and NWA Women’s World Champion Serena Deeb.

Ivelisse is the current SHINE Champion, and is scheduled to defend her Ladies Night Out Title against Su Yung at the Midnight In Tampa Event on April 9th as part of WWE’s WrestleMania 37 week. Currently, Ivelisse still continues to accept bookings via ivelezbookings@gmail.com.
