Saraya Cleared For In-Ring Action By AEW Officials

Saraya is a superstar that surprised the WWE Universe when she came to Monday Night Raw and defeated AJ Lee on her debut night. She returned to different roles in the company and surprised people back then too.

If that’s the trend then what went down for some other superstars should also be understood. Daniel Bryan returned from a career-threatening injury, Edge returned, so why can’t Paige return after a hiatus of a considerable time?

It’s possible that she wanted to return but Vince wasn’t keen on the plan and things had already fallen apart before Triple H could take charge. Paige’s WWE contract expired on July 7th while Triple H took charge on July 25th.

The difference may be less, but that was enough for Paige to put ink to paper and she may have already signed the deal before The Game took the control of the WWE’s creative team. WWE’s new regime would have been interested in her back in the ring, but time has gone by.

She debuted in AEW a couple of weeks ago and received an excellent reaction. Some speculated that she may not be available for in-ring action. The in-ring altercation (not backstage this time, thankfully) confirms that she is ready for action, and Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed it.

According to him, AEW’s Dr Michael Sampson has cleared Saraya for in-ring action. It would be interesting to see her in the AEW ring doing what she does best amongst the best that the new business has to offer.

Her return to professional wrestling marred WWE’s plans of getting the ovation she received, but it would be interesting to see if she plans to return to the WWE after her current contract with the company is over.
