SCU Says That They Will Split Up If They Lose A Match Again

SCU (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) were involved in a massive 8-Man Tag Team Match on AEW Dynamite’s New Year’s Smash night one episode this past Wednesday night. SCU teamed up with AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) to lock horns with TH2 (Jack Evans and Angelico) and The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster).

The team of SCU and the Young Bucks won the match when Daniels and Matt Jackson hit Jack Evans with a moonsault/piledriver combination, a finisher which SCU, then known as The Addiction, uses to beat the Young Bucks in ROH.

Immediately following the match, SCU took to the mic and once again said that they will split if they lose another match, a storyline which has been running on AEW Dark.

This is what Frankie Kazarian said:

“The next time [Daniels] and I lose as a tag team, he and I are done as a tag team, forever.” “However, that is not happening on my match.”

This is what Christopher Daniels said:

“So if this is our last hurrah, Matt, Nick, I want you to know that we’ve got your back anytime you need us.” “Except for the night that we stand in this ring, face-to-face, and those belts are on the line. Because we don’t just want those championships, we want to beat the best tag team on the planet to win ’em.”
