There was a report saying that Limitless Wrestling took to their social media accounts and noted that All Elite Wrestling pulled Shawn Spears from their upcoming event. The report also indicated that Tommy Dreamer was named as the replacement for Spears.
Spears would be going up against Anthony Greene at the 2019 Vacationland Cup. The report also noted that VIP ticket holders had a chance for their tickets to be refunded.
Just recently, another report was released by All Elite Wrestling saying they changed their mind. Limitless Wrestling took to their Instagram account and gave an update indicating that AEW has cleared Shawn Spears to appear and compete in the 2019 Vacationland Cup this coming Friday, July 11th in Portland, Maine.
According to the report, Limitless Wrestling also wrote that they couldn’t thank AEW enough for approving this one day ahead of their upcoming event in Jacksonville.
Due to Shawn Spears being cleared to compete in the 2019 Vacationland Cup, a fan asked the company if Tommy Dreamer will still be making an appearance at the event.
A response was then given by Limitless Wrestling saying, “damn right.” The company would also announce that they will be sharing the updated brackets soon. The VIP packages for the event will now include a Tommy Dreamer trading card, a free Shawn Spears 8×10 plus an autograph.
