Tay Conti Says She Did Good Amount Of Therapy And Mind Work

Former WWE NXT Superstar Taynara Conti (Taynara), who is now known as Tay Conti in AEW and one of the fastest rising stars in AEW’s Women’s Division, recently took to her Twitter to issue a statement and address what she had to overcome for her to wrestle in her current in-ring attire, which is without long sleeves and with low waist shorts.

Tay Conti revealed that she went through a good amount of therapy and mind work before she finally felt comfortable in her own skin and that she had to overcome a mental insecurity.

This is what Tay Conti said:

“I know I always post bikini pics but being in the ring without long sleeves and with low waist shorts was a challenge. A mental insecurity that almost nobody believes I have it but yes I do. After a good amount of therapy and mind work, I did it. We all should feel good in our own skin.”

Tay Conti would then later add,

“Do not ask me why, when I take pictures I just have the photographer and I and sometimes the production people. When it comes to wrestle in front a bunch of people my insecurities about my body was an issue but not anymore.”

Conti signed her contract with AEW earlier this month. she was in WWE for four years prior to her release from WWE back in April as part of the company-wide cuts brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
