NWA Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa, who recently made a number of appearances on Dark and Dynamite and even faced AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida at All Out. Spoke with Chris Featherstone of SportsKeeda on a number of topics, including what her future is with AEW as she is still under contract with the NWA.
This is what Thunder Rosa said:
“The working relationship is there, I’m returning, I wasn’t expecting to return so quickly. Yes, I think Billy [Corgan] and Tony [Khan] have been talking. They are very happy with my performance so far. I hope, knock on wood, it continues. It’s going well for me. We are putting NWA name on a broader platform, which is the goal at the end of the day.”
It was previously reported that Thunder Rosa was able to work for AEW as AEW President and CEO Tony Khan made an agreement with NWA Owner Billy Corgan for Rosa to appear on Dynamite prior to her biggest match under the AEW banner at All Out.
