Number Of Tickets Sold For AEW On TNT, More Tickets, React

It was previously reported that AEW’s first-ever show on TNT sold out within a matter of a few hours this past Friday night. All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes made the announcement just three hours after the tickets went on sale.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, AEW was able to sell more than 9,200 tickets in a span of two hours, while Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live indicated earlier in the day that around 9,200 – 10,000 tickets were sold.

All Elite Wrestling recently took to Twitter and said that more tickets may be released as the day of the show draws closer and closer. AEW also said that fans should keep checking for the release of the tickets. Meltzer also noted that around 1,000 more tickets may be released within this week or so.

AEW’s first-ever TNT Show is set to take place on Wednesday, October 2nd from the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Below is the current lineup for the show:

  • Jon Moxley to appear live
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara
  • The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho and two mystery partners
  • The first-ever AEW Women’s Champion will be crowned
