Tony Khan Confirms AEW’s PPV Schedule For 2020

This past Saturday night’s Full Gear PPV Event was AEW‘s final PPV of 2019. Now that the company’s 2019 PPV Events are already in the books with the year coming to a close.

With a month and a half left of Dynamite episodes, it begs the question. What does All Elite Wrestling have in store for us in 2020.

All Elite Wrestling President and CEO Tony Khan took part in a media scrum this past Saturday night immediately following Full Gear and revealed the initial plans the company has for their PPVs in 2020.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“I’ve said from the beginning, I feel like we really want to do the best thing for our fans in terms of giving them value for the shows and giving a great quarterly pay-per-view experience,” And we’re going to keep doing that. It’s no secret that Double or Nothing, All Out and now Full Gear are big quarterly brands for us. So in Q1 there will be something, we’ll make an announcement very soon. But you’ll expect, given that we’re doing Double or Nothing [on] Memorial Day [weekend] again — that’s happening, Double or Nothing 2 is happening, you can expect to see shows the caliber of Double or Nothing, All Out and Full Gear, there’s going to be another one on that Mount Rushmore of quarterly big pay-per-view shows.”

According to Khan, we can expect the company to hold a Double Or Nothing 2 PPV, but there was no mention of the company planning to hold a second All Out PPV or a second Full Gear PPV, though he did say that we can expect more shows of that caliber.
