Tony Khan Teases Appearances From Top AEW Stars For Toronto Shows

A big announcement was previously made by All Elite Wrestling that the company is heading to Toronto, Canada this October for a live episode of their weekly flagship show AEW Dynamite and a taped episode of their weekly show AEW Rampage. The live episode of AEW Dynamite is set to take place on Wednesday, October 12 inside the Coca-Cola Coliseum, while the taped episode of AEW Rampage is set to take place on Thursday, October 13 also from the same venue.

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has yet to announce the matchups and the wrestlers for their shows in Canada, but he did reveal when speaking with the Toronto Star that many of AEW’s top stars, including some who are on the injured list could possibly be back by then.

“You’ll see many of the top stars, including some who are on the injured list.” “I think there is a good possibility they could be back by then.”

Tony Khan also talked about how Toronto is one of the best wrestling cities in the world and how it’s tradition dates back several years and even decades.
