Top AEW Star Chris Jericho Files To Trademark His Nickname

Last February 4th, top AEW Star Chris Jericho filed to trademark “The Influencer” name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for pro wrestling and sports and entertainment use. Chris Jericho had the trademark filing done through Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped a number of AEW talents file their trademarks in the past as well and it was done on behalf of the top AEW Star’s Chris Irvine Inc. corporation.

The inaugural AEW World Champion “The Demo God” Chris Jericho referred to himself as “The Influencer” during a promo he cut on the February 2 Dynamite episode, when he said that no one has more influence in AEW than himself.

Below is the use description submitted to the USPTO:

“Mark For: THE INFLUENCER trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
