There have been reports over the past few weeks that Andrade El Idolo is unhappy with his position as well as his booking in AEW and that he could be making his return to the WWE soon. AEW President Tony Khan made a massive match announcement during this past Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage that on next week’s show Andrade El Idolo will take on Dark Order’s Preston “10” Vance in a Singles Match and if Andrade wins, then Vance will have to remove his mask for good, but if Andrade loses, then he will leave AEW forever.
José The Assistant took to his Twitter and told Andrade El Idolo he is one of the best competitors in pro wrestling and he learned a great amount working alongside Andrade. José also said Andrade brought him to All Elite Wrestling and he will stand by Andrade’s side in whatever choice he makes next. José then thanked Andrade and shortly after, Andrade retweeted this message from José, which could be some sort of a hint that Andrade could be leaving AEW soon.
Even though it seems that Andrade could be losing the match and leaving AEW for good, there are those who believe Andrade will walk out the match as the winner, but AEW did mention that this Friday’s AEW Rampage will be the two-year anniversary of Brodie Lee’s final match in the company, so Preston Vance could end up defeating Andrade El Idolo. AEW CEO Tony Khan did also reveal in the past that he is not granting releases and if Andrade El Idolo’s deal with AEW will not be expiring soon, then he could be victorious in his match against Vance and end up staying in AEW.
