Warner Bros. Discovery Reportedly Reaches Out To Brandi Rhodes

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and his wife, Brandi Rhodes left All Elite Wrestling, when their contracts with the promotion expired earlier this year. Cody Rhodes has since returned to WWE at this past April’s WrestleMania 38, when he faced Seth Rollins in a Singles Match and came out of the match with a massive victory. Cody Rhodes would compete in two more matches against Seth Rollins and defeat Rollins in both matches before taking time off due to a torn biceps injury he suffered prior to WWE’s Hell In A Cell.

Brandi Rhodes, on the other hand, hasn’t yet officially signed with the WWE, but she has participated in a number of tryout matches at the WWE Performance Center this past summer and could sign with them soon, though according to Fightful Select, a deal has not been reached yet on Brandi being brought in as a competitor, although Brandi did hope to integrate her relationship with KultureCity into the WWE since she is a board member there.

It was also noted on the report that after news broke out in regards to Warner Bros. Discovery trying to help AEW in re-signing Cody Rhodes, a source revealed that Warner Bros. Discovery did reach out to Brandi Rhodes as well in September 2022, but Warner and Brandi are not in regular contact, though the former AEW Star and the network do maintain a cordial relationship.

There is no word yet on the context of the conversation Warner Bros. had with Brandi Rhodes, but it’s been mentioned by sources that they have been very happy with AEW as well as it’s television ratings, specifically in recent months.
