Fightful Select reports that a rumor has been making waves all over social media that reigning IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace is set to join All Elite Wrestling soon, but those rumors are reportedly not true. Those rumors have spread the way it did due to the fact that All Elite Wrestling music producer Mikey Rukus produced a theme song for Grace, but Fightful Select reached out to IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace for some comments and some clarification on the situation and she said that Rukus has produced a number of theme songs for her for quite some time now, even before AEW was launched. Fightful Select even revealed that the theme song made the rounds a few weeks back.
Grace, who made her official debut with IMPACT Wrestling last November 8th, 2018, signed a multi-year extension with the promotion in May of 2021, which will keep her with IMPACT Wrestling until at least the spring of 2023. That’s not to say that the IMPACT Knockouts World Champion won’t sign with AEW or any other pro wrestling promotion once her current contract with IMPACT is up, but she did mention in a tweet last June 27th that she isn’t accepting Indie dates as she’s recovering from old injuries and she is currently focused on IMPACT Wrestling.
Jordynne Grace became the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champion for the second time at the recent 2022 Slammiversary PPV, when she defeated Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Deonna Purrazzo and Mia Yim in the first-ever Queen Of The Mountain Match. Jordynne successfully defended her IMPACT Knockouts World Title against Tasha Steelz at IMPACT’s Against All Odds.
