‘Virtually Everybody’ In WWE Reportedly In Contact With AEW

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, a very large number of WWE Superstars (“virtually everybody” on the current WWE roster) has reached out to AEW in some fashion to discuss a potential future with the wrestling promotion.

The report states that AEW is obviously not interested in bringing in all these WWE talents, but interest has been shown on certain individuals. These wrestlers are looking at how much money they could potentially be offered if they decided to sign with AEW one day in the future.

The report also states that the one WWE Superstar who has remained completely loyal to WWE and has not contacted AEW in any form is Roman Reigns. Who up until recently, has been absent from WWE TV since April due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chris Jericho mentioned on his Saturday Night Special Youtube series that Reigns is the person at the top of his WWE wish list of Superstars he would want to see in AEW someday. Jericho also mentioned that he wants to see Cesaro competing in an AEW ring at some point as well.
