Wardlow Speaks On The Character Of MJF—Mia Yim Talks Triple H—Kushida To Premiere For Impact Wrestling

If there’s anyone that knows a thing or two about Maxwell Jacob Friedman, then it’s Wardlow. The two worked closely together for quite some time…on the same side at first, and finally against one another in a feud that called to mind the classic WWE feud between Triple H and Batista from 2005.

It worked well then and it worked well now…a classic story about the student fighting to break free of the oppressive teacher. Like David and Goliath, it certainly works; especially in professional wrestling.

Since their feud though, MJF has not been seen on TV since a rather scathing promo he cut on Tony Khan of all people a few weeks back, attacking the man personally on a segment on Dynamite…. The word on the street is that this is a work of course, but that remains to be seen for now.

Wardlow has made some statements on his former co-worker while speaking with The Wrestling Classic. He said:

“Honestly, I shouldn’t even give this subject the time of day, and I really don’t care to, but I do understand – people gotta understand, we were together for three years. He was the first three years of my career; he was a big part of my career. So if anybody is allowed to touch on this subject, it probably is me…

I’ll just say this, he’s not a good person. He really is a piece of s**t. It was not enjoyable working with him. He put me through more stress than anything and his behavior inside of the business and outside of the business is unacceptable. But that’s all I’m gonna say about that…”

Mia Yim on Triple H and her time in NXT

Mia Yim is making headlines over at Impact Wrestling. She is actually next in line to face Jordynne Grace for her Knockouts Championship as a result of Yim defeating Deonna Purrazzo last night on Impact.

But before her return to Impact Wrestling, she had spent quite a bit of time over at NXT. As it turns out she had nothing but great things to say about Triple H specifically, stating that he truly cared for the wrestlers—herself included. She made this statement on her official YouTube channel.

This is just another voice in that same chorus of voices speaking on behalf of Triple H, his leadership and their time in NXT.

Kushida to premiere for Impact Wrestling

And as for yet another NXT expat, it seems as though Kushida is headed for Impact Wrestling as well….

He of course spent quite a bit of time in NXT but left once his contract was up a little while ago, deciding to head for NJPW, essentially where he had made a name for himself in the industry, and he has been quoted as saying that NJPW would be where he’d finish his career, and now this.

He will be at the tapings for “Derby City Rumble” for Impact Wrestling. Even Scott D’Amore, the Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling tweeted about the incredible news, as did Impact. As of this writing, no news as to who Kushida will be facing, but it should be just a matter of ‘time’ before we find out. See what I did there? Time? I’m sure you do, all you Kushida fans out there.
