Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw former ROH World Champion and one of the greatest high-flyers in pro wrestling history Bandido challenge ROH World Champion “The Ocho” Chris Jericho for his title, but that is not the only show Bandido competed in this past week as he also competed in his promotion Big Lucha. Bandido’s performance in his match against Chris Jericho reportedly impressed AEW CEO Tony Khan as well as several other AEW higher-ups, but he experienced a few issues prior to the match.
Fightful Select reports that Bandido’s gear was misplaced as he was making his way to Philadelphia to compete on AEW Dynamite and he even tried to do a few things to come up with a new gear and when most of what he did failed, it only left him with a limited number of options. Bandido ended up having one of his masks, but the rest of his gear was either bought or borrowed from a fellow wrestler. He would come up with a new outfit for his huge AEW debut and ended up having a great main event match against “The Ocho” Chris Jericho.
