In August 2019, Wardlow signed with All Elite Wrestling after only being in the independent scene for a few years. Since arriving in AEW, Wardlow has been put in a faction with MJF, Shawn Spears, AAA Tag Team Champions FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) and pro wrestling legend Tully Blanchard called The Pinnacle. Wardlow is currently in a storyline with MJF and CM Punk and it appears that he may soon be a babyface and receive a huge push as a singles star as AEW sees the potential in him.
Not only does AEW see what Wardlow can bring to the table as WrestleVotes reports that WWE has had an interest in the AEW Star for a while now and they are looking to sign him once his AEW contract ends. There’s no word yet on when Wardlow’s contract with AEW will expire, but just like several others, he signed a 3-year deal with the company in 2019 and made his debut in the latter part of the same year, so it is possible that he could become a free agent sometime within the end of this year.

With his biggest match to date happening later tonight, I can confirm, without hesitation, that WWE will be extremely interested in luring Wardlow away from AEW when his contract is due. There are several people within World Wrestling Entertainment that LOVE his potential.— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) January 12, 2022
Let’s clear some things up:— WrestleVotes (@WrestleVotes) January 12, 2022
1. Much love to @AEW, continue the great work
2. I think @RealWardlow has mega potential & I take him for his word that he wants to remain AEW for life, however-
3. That does not discount the fact WWE will 100% make a play for him at the proper time
