As previously reported, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program noted that a very large number of WWE Superstars (“virtually everybody” on the current WWE roster) has reached out to AEW in some form or fashion to discuss a potential future with the company.
Dave Meltzer stated on the report that AEW has shown interest on certain individuals and conversations about how much money those individuals could potentially make if they decide to sign with AEW even took place.
Top WWE Star and current WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman took to his Instagram account and responded to those reports by Meltzer and said, “Dork Marksler with yet more #FakeNews” and “#NotThisGuy.”
Jake from HeelByNature took to Instagram and posted the news reported by Meltzer. Strowman then replied to Jake, saying that those reports are just lies and he doesn’t like the idea of being used as “click bait for lies.”
