Young Bucks File To Trademark Several Terms Including Their Ring Names

Last August 12, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) filed to trademark the terms “The Elite,” “Being The Elite” and “BTE” with the USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office) as well as their “Matt Jackson” and “Nick Jackson” ring names for entertainment and merchandise purposes.

The trademark filing was done through Attorney Michael E. Dockins, who has helped several AEW talents file their trademarks in the past as well. AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) is set to defend their AEW World Tag Team Titles against Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus of Jurassic Express on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite from the Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas.

Below is the use description submitted to the USPTO:

“G & S: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts”, as well as “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
