Netflix Expected To Land WWE In Japan As AEW Leaves NJPW World

WWE is expected to move to Netflix in Japan before the end of 2026 as their current deal with ABEMA streaming service winds down, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meanwhile, AEW programming will be removed from NJPW World when their agreement expires on August 31, 2026, with new episodes of Dynamite and Collision stopping uploads at the end of June, requiring Japanese fans to switch to MyAEW for future content. NJPW World confirmed that Forbidden Door pay-per-view events will continue to remain available despite the weekly television programming split.
