Ratings for the Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 7th overall for the night.
Dynamite drew 850,000 viewers up from last week’s 764,000 viewers. They finished 17th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured PAC’s return match and the Moxley vs Omega signing.
NXT drew 638,000 viewers slightly up from last week’s 632,000 viewers. It finished 56th overall, last week they also finished 56th. The show featured Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was up to 1.488 million viewers. It was at 1.396 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, it looks like things are returning to normal. News programming only took 7 of the top 15 spots, CNN taking 5 of those 7. Interest in Fox News has dropped big time since the election. The NBA draft dominated the top 5 with 3 spots. AEW Dynamite finished 2nd on the night in terms of non-news shows. Real Housewives of the OC finished 8th. In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.27, which is around where they usually are.
