Ratings for the Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Monday, several days late due to the Holiday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 7th overall for the night.
Dynamite drew 710,000 viewers down from last week’s 850,000 viewers. They finished 7th overall last week as well. Dynamite was taped this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured the Death Triangle tag match and Women’s Championship match.
NXT drew 712,000 viewers up from last week’s 638,000 viewers. It finished 25th overall, last week they also finished 56th. The show featured Kevin Owen’s return to NXT on commentary and Kyle O’Reilly vs. Pete Dunne to determine which team will have an advantage at WarGames.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was down to 1.422 million viewers. It was at 1.488 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, news programming took 8 of the top 15 spots, CNN taking 8 of them. No Fox News shows were in the top 15, CNN shows dominated the top 30 shows. However, Newsmax shows did enter the top 150 shows. CNN, a Hallmark Movie, and Real Housewives of the OC made up the top 5.
In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.29, which was slightly up from last week.
