AEW TV RATINGS: Dynamite Finishes 2nd, NXT 40th, December 2nd, 2020

Ratings for the Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released late Friday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 2nd overall for the night.

Dynamite drew 913,000 viewers way up from last week’s 712,000 viewers. They finished 7th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured the Winter Is Coming special episode with a Title Match and Stings return to wrestling.

NXT drew 658,000 viewers down from last week’s 712,000 viewers. It finished 40th overall, last week they also finished 25th. The show featured Raquel Gonzalez vs. Shotzi Blackheart. It was the final show before NXT TakeOver: WarGames

The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was way up to 1.571 million viewers. It was at 1.422 million total viewers last week.

Based on the ratings, news programming took only 6 of the top 15 spots, CNN taking 4 of them. College Basketball on ESPN had 3 of the top 5, with Real Housewives of the OC at #3.

In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.26, which was slightly down from last week.

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.42/ NXT: 0.16
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.28
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.56
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.26
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.19
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.25
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.47
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.26
