Ratings for the Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released today. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 4th overall for the night.
Dynamite drew 977,000 viewers way up from last week’s 775,000 viewers. They finished 5th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. The show was the Brodie Lee Tribute special. It was its third highest-rated show in terms of viewership in 2020. And third highest-rated show in terms of 18-49 demo in 2020 as well.
NXT drew 586,000 viewers down from last week’s 698,000 viewers. It finished 58th overall, last week they finished 40th. The show is the third lowest in terms of viewership of 2020 for NXT on USA. Its 0.12 in 18-49 demo is the lowest in 2020.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was up to 1.563 million viewers. It was at 1.473 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, news programming took 5 of the top 15 spots, CNN taking 5 of them. Fox News’s highest-rated show was at #39.
The Cotton Bowl won the night on ESPN. The next non-College Bowl-related show was Real Housewives Of OC which finished #7.
In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.34, which was up from last week.
