Ratings for the Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 12th overall for the night.
Dynamite drew 781,000 viewers slightly up from last week’s 753,000 viewers. They finished 13th overall last week. Dynamite was taped this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured the World Title Eliminator Tournament and TNT Championship Lumber Jack Match.
NXT drew 876,000 viewers way up from last week’s 644,000 viewers. It finished 21st overall, last week they finished 56th. The show featured the special NXT Halloween Havoc edition of the show. The last time NXT beat AEW in total audience was back on July 8th.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was way up to 1.657 million viewers. It was at 1.397 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, news, news, and more news again dominated the night. News programming took 12 of the top 15 spots. Only AEW, Real Housewives Of The OC(#13), and Married At First Site(#10) were the only non- news programs. In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.29, slightly up from last week.
