Ratings for the Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 edition of AEW Dynamite were released today. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 6th overall for the night.
Dynamite drew 934,000 viewers up from last week’s 831,000 viewers. They finished 5th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. The show featured Shaq & Jade Cargill vs. Cody Rhoes and Red Velvet. This was AEW’s highest viewership of 2021 so far.
NXT drew 692,000 viewers down from last week’s 734,000 viewers. It finished 19th overall, last week they finished 24th. The show featured NXT Champion Finn Bálor defeating Roderick Strong in a non-title match.
The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was up this week at 1.626 million viewers. It was 1.565 million total viewers last week.
Based on the ratings, cable news only had 2 shows in the top 15. It was the Tucker Carlson on FOX News that came in at #9 and Cuomo Prime Time on CNN at #15.
MTV’s Challenge Double Agent was #1, with the NBA on ESPN had #2 and #4 spots. Real Housewives Of New Jersey coming in at #3 followed by Married At First Site at #5.
In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.38, which was way up from last week.
