Dynamite drew 755,000 viewers slightly down from last week’s 792,000 viewers. They finished 9th last week on a Wednesday night. Dynamite was taped this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida and moved to a 6 pm start time on Saturday.
According to PWInsider, WarnerMedia executives are pleased with AEW’s weekend rating. Officials are “extremely happy” with the ratings, which allowed TNT to have three of the top five rated broadcasts in the 18-34 demo for Saturday night.
On Wednesday, with no competition from AEW, NXT drew 853,000 viewers way up from last week’s 619,000 viewers. It finished 23rd overall, way up from last week’s super-low 65th overall.
Based on the ratings, the NBA had three of the top spots with UFC in at four. TNT executives should realize they have something special in AEW. They were able to draw well with a 6:34 pm start time.
