John Cena has been one of the most controversial figures in professional wrestling. Road Dogg, a WWE Hall of Famer, has announced that the Leader of Cenation won’t be able to make a full-time return to WWE.
John Cena, a WWE performer turned Hollywood star with his latest movie ventures in 2017, went from being a full-time WWE performer to a Hollywood celebrity. Fans have seen fewer appearances from the Leader of Cenation in recent years as he started working on blockbuster franchises like the DCEU.
WWE Universe is wondering when John Cena will return to the squared circle. Road Dogg, a WWE Hall of Famer, revealed on his Oh! You Didn’t Know podcast that Cena cannot return to WWE as a performer full-time because he can only give specific dates.
“He can’t return forever, you know what I mean?” Because he has other career options, he will only be back for a limited number of dates. That would be fantastic, Cena could come back. He wins the title if you bring him over. Yeah? He’s not going to be there so it’s impossible. I had three dates. I can go on the go home, I can attend the pay-per-view, and you get one more. You get the idea. That’s how deals are made. It’s not “we got Cena, let’s do whatever we like.” Said Road Dogg
How is John Cena doing for Wrestlemania?
John Cena’s match at Wrestlemania 39 has been announced with several names. There were rumors earlier this year that Austin Theory would face the Leader of Cenation, but it’s as uncertain as a bet on NetBet Sport.
This is however highly unlikely after the arrival of the new regime. There was much buzz around Logan Paul facing John Cena after Crown Jewel in 2022. They have been in touch via social media.
The WWE Universe wants Stone Cold Steve Austin to face the Leader of Cenation. This is after Austin’s performance at Wrestlemania 38 against Kevin Owens.
Recent reports indicate that John Cena has been mentioned as a possible guest at Wrestlemania 39. Cena’s opponent has not been determined for The Showcase Of The Immortals.
