Frankie Kazarian Embraces TNA Revival Ahead of Impact Wrestling’s Rebranding

In a move poised to send ripples through the wrestling community, Impact Wrestling has announced an unexpected return to its roots, christening itself once again as Total Nonstop Action (TNA). The rebranding is generating buzz and nostalgia, set to unfold officially at the upcoming Hard To Kill pay-per-view event.

Leading the charge among TNA stalwarts is none other than Frankie Kazarian, whose insights on the transformation of the company were recently highlighted during his appearance on the Talk Is Jericho podcast. Kazarian offered a candid comparison between the former management and the current regime, highlighting the stark contrasts that have reshaped the organization. Management has had a complete overhaul, with Kazarian reflecting on the era when he departed in 2014 under Big John Gaburick’s creative leadership—a time which he recalls as less than favorable for himself and his tag team partner Christopher Daniels.

Today, Impact Wrestling’s rejuvenation course steered by President Scott D’Amore has impressed Kazarian, especially during his visits while still associated with AEW. He emphasized the camaraderie and positive dynamics within the locker room, pointing out D’Amore’s successful efforts in reviving the company’s image which had previously suffered a considerable decline in reputation.

The revival of TNA was first hinted at during the Impact Bound for Glory PPV in October, and since then, additional details have cascaded out to the public. TNA is poised to modernize its streaming service in partnership with WWE owner Endeavor, reflecting a significant effort to enhance its digital presence. Although this partnership does not signify a collaborative relationship between TNA and WWE in wrestling storylines, it does indicate D’Amore’s openness to forging alliances across the wrestling landscape. This is further exemplified by the involvement of prominent wrestling figures such as Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada in the upcoming TNA Snake Eyes.

As TNA gears up for its rebranding, the anticipation within the wrestling community continues to build. With Frankie Kazarian at the forefront of this resurgence, TNA seeks to reclaim its former glory and carve out a fresh identity in the ever-evolving landscape of professional wrestling.
