Official PPW Press Release
SELLERSBURG, September 15, 2021 – Paradigm Pro Wrestling has announced that beginning with its Fourth Anniversary Double Feature on Friday, October 15th, it will be establishing a roster split with two full-time, separate brands.
“We’ve experienced unprecedented growth in the last year or so, and there’s literally nearly a hundred roster members that we’d like to spotlight – so it’s becoming clear that the best way to spotlight everyone is with separate brands. We’ve already informally split the rosters between traditional pro wrestling with our No Hook series on IndependentWrestling.TV, and UWFi Rules shoot-style with our UWFi Rules Contenders Series – this just formalizes that change moving forward,” said Paradigm Pro Wrestling co-owner Gary J. Wilson.
The Red Brand will mainly focus on continuing Paradigm’s long-time mashup of traditional pro wrestling and hip-hop culture. The Paradigm Championship, the MidwestTerritory.com Championship Chain, and the Paradigm Tag Team Championships will be defended on the Red Brand.
The Blue Brand will mainly focus on spotlighting UWFi Rules shoot-style fights, as well as hardcore wrestling. The Heavy Hitters Championship, the Super Middleweight Championship, and Paradigm’s new World Brass Knuckles Championship will be defended on the Blue Brand.
Paradigm’s Fourth Anniversary Double Feature will feature the first official standalone shows from the Red Brand and the Blue Brand.
The Red Brand show “Dey Know” will be headlined by the long-awaited Paradigm Championship rematch between MLW star Myron Reed and former AEW star Suge D. In the co-main event Ring of Honor star Shane Taylor will challenge Calvin Tankman for the MidwestTerritory.com Championship Chain.
Additional signed matches include Freddie Hudson vs Kerry Awful; Brayden Lee vs Zay Washington; a triple threat match between Charlie Kruel, Billie Starkz, and Joseline Navarro; and a triple threat match for the Paradigm Tag Team Championship between defending champions The Awesome Odyssey, The Lost Boys, and the Miracle Violence Connection.
The Blue Brand show “As the Rush Comes” will feature a double main event including a rematch for the Super Middleweight Championship between Jordan Blade and Janai Kai, and a five-way elimination match for the World Brass Knuckles Championship that includes Bobby Beverly, Ron Mathis, Josh Crane, Flash Thompson, and “The Hoodfoot” Mo Atlas.
Additional signed matches include Matt Makowski vs Isaiah Broner for the Heavy Hitters Championship; YOYA vs AKIRA in a rematch of what was called the greatest UWFi Rules fight in Paradigm history; Travis Huckabee vs Sidney Von Engeland in a British Rounds match; Bruce Grey vs Gregory Iron; Shea McCoy vs Eden Von Engeland; Jeffrey John vs Victor Analog; and Derek Neal vs Max Zero.
Special guest Davey Richards will be in action on both shows – facing Cole Radrick on “Dey Know”, and challenging Austin Connelly under UWFi Rules on “As the Rush Comes.”
The shows will take place on Friday, October 15th at the American Legion Post 204 in Sellersburg, IN (minutes from Louisville, KY) with bell-times of 7PM and 9:30PM. Tickets range from $40 to $50 when purchased in advance at ParadigmProWrestling.com.
Both shows will also be released on IndependentWrestling.TV, the world’s largest library of independent wrestling. The streaming service IWTV is available on Roku, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, iOS, Google Play and more. 59 shows in Paradigm Pro Wrestling’s back catalog are available for on-demand viewing on IWTV.
