PR: Tom Lawlor and Dominic Garrini face Matthew Justice and The Bev on the Season Finale of the “UWFi Rules Contenders Series”

At “Filthy” Tom Lawlor’s request, Paradigm Pro Wrestling is sanctioning the first UWFi Rules Tag Team Fights to be held in the United States in more than 20 years this Wednesday night as part of the Season Finale of the UWFi Rules Contenders Series on IndependentWrestling.TV.

Lawlor (2-0 under UWFi Rules) previously fought in the UFC, currently fights for the PFL, and is the current New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Openweight Champion. He will team alongside fellow Team Filthy member and Major League Wrestling roster member Dominic Garrini (10-2 under UWFi Rules).

Team Filthy will battle The Lifers, Matthew Justice (3-2 under UWFi Rules) and 44OH member Bobby Beverly (5-2 under UWFi Rules), who are reuniting for one night only. The Lifers previously held the Paradigm Tag Team Championships together for most of 2019, before engaging in a bitter blood feud in 2020.

Team Filthy vs The Lifers will headline the six fight season finale card, airing this Wednesday at 10PM ET / 7PM PT on IWTV. The evening will also feature a second UWFi Rules Tag Team Fight, as the Lost Boy (“Hoodfoot” Mo Atlas and Chase Holliday, combined UWFi Rules Record of 14-1) face Unsigned and Don’t Care (Gary Jay and Aaron Williams, combined UWFi Rules Record of 2-4).

In addition to the two Tag Team fights, the undercard is stacked with a series of intriguing fights.

Streaking prospect “The Suplex Assassin” Alex Kane (3-0) will face the massive Max the Impaler (1-1), “Big Beef” Gnarls Garvin (3-1) looks to avenge his only UWFi Rules loss against bareknuckle fighter Lord Crewe (2-2), former Paradigm Champion Freddie Hudson (1-1) takes on Lexus Montez (2-2), and training partners collide as YOYA Shooterweight (2-2) battles Robert Martyr (2-3).
