Powerhouse Hobbs Signs with WWE After AEW Exit
Powerhouse Hobbs has officially signed with WWE after his AEW contract expired on January 15, with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirming the signing on January 22, 2026. Hobbs' final AEW match was a trios title defense that aired on the January 17 episode of AEW Collision: Maximum Carnage, and he had turned down AEW's contract offer to pursue WWE instead. Insiders believe the 35-year-old wrestler is expected to be around during Royal Rumble weekend in Saudi Arabia, though it's unclear which brand he will debut on.
