Backstage News On Emma’s WWE Status Following Her Return

Reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion “The Baddest Woman On The Planet” Ronda Rousey issued an Open Challenge for her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on last Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown and it was answered by none other than former IMPACT Wrestling Star Emma (Tenille Dashwood).

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Emma was signed to a full-time WWE contract and that her appearance on WWE SmackDown last Friday wasn’t a one-time deal as she is now part of the WWE Smackdown roster. Emma previously worked for the WWE from 2011 to 2017 and her last appearance prior to her exit from the promotion took place on the July 14th episode of WWE’s flagship broadcast.
