Backstage News On The Status Of A SmackDown Tag Team

WWE has paired a number of Superstars before that doesn’t quite fit the mold of an effective tag team that has a bright future ahead in the division and one of those pairing is A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory). This team was put together shortly after Grayson was called up to the main roster and Theory lost the WWE United States Championship.

According to WrestleVotes, there were no plans for the team of Waller and Theory to stay together for the long haul, but after they impressed company officials, WWE decided they will not split the duo up and for them to remain a team through WrestleMania season. It was also noted on the report that since the company is now behind them we can expect Waller and Theory to get a huge push going forward.
