Becky Lynch Takes A Huge Shot At Roman Reigns

Becky Lynch has been a fighting champion and she has been competing on a weekly basis on both the WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown brands since she won the WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown Women’s Championships at WWE WrestleMania 35. Lynch would only take time off when she was forced to relinquish the WWE RAW Women’s Title to Asuka so she could go on a maternity leave, which she was on the sidelines for over a year.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, on the other hand, has only appeared a limited number of times over the past two years or so after capturing the WWE Universal Championship and he has even appeared less and has only defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title on two occasions, the first is against Riddle on the June 17 episode of WWE SmackDown and the second is against Brock Lesnar at last Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event since winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at last April’s WWE WrestleMania 38, when he beat Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All Championship Unification Match.

The official Twitter account of WWE on FOX asked fans to compare the two historic title reigns, which Becky Lynch responded to and seemingly mocked Roman Reigns for as a part-timer while holding both the company’s world championships. The WWE on FOX Twitter account asked, “WHO DID IT BETTER?” and The Man responded with, “Me, I showed up to work.” Reigns has yet to respond to the jab from Lynch as of this writing.

It should be noted that Roman Reigns did defend his title on a number of WWE Live Events against Drew McIntyre back in April and May, but he has had only two televised defenses thus far. His next defense will take place at WWE’s Clash At The Castle against Drew McIntyre. Becky Lynch is expected to miss a number of months of in-ring action due to a shoulder injury she suffered at WWE SummerSlam.
