CM Punk Gets Support From A WWE Executive

CM Punk got a positive response from the WWE Executive

CM Punk is in the news since his departure from AEW. There have been news that he would be back with the WWE, but there are some that are doubting this possibility due to the way Punk left the company the last time.

WWE is now owned by Endeavour, and the company’s day to day proceedings will be taken care of by the new TKO Holdings Group. Nick Khan is still in charge and he has been doing everything in his power to promote the new change.

During a discussion with ESPN’s Marc Raimondi about the WWE-UFC merger, WWE President Nick Khan was asked about WWE’s interest in Punk. Nick was subtle about what went down since he left and what he thinks of Punk after the recent developments.

Nick didn’t respond with a Yes or a No, but instead talked about what he feels for Phil (CM Punk’s real name). The response was so precise that you couldn’t make out what to do next with it, or what it meant in the realm of things.

Listen, we only have respect for Phil. We appreciate his run here. We appreciate what he did and tried to do with the UFC. Not many people can actually get in there and do what he did. So, when we have respect for Phil, we wish him nothing but the best.

Nick’s response is a reminder that WWE wants to keep the options open and doesn’t want anyone to get an update of what comes next for the WWE Universe or the WWE locker room.

What do you think of Nick Khan’s comments? Chime in.
