Goldberg Reveals When His Current WWE Contract Expires

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg appeared on the Roman Atwood podcast and talked about his current contract with the WWE. During the podcast, Goldberg revealed that his relationship with the WWE has never been good at all times because he worked for a promotion that competed against the WWE in the Monday Night Wars. Goldberg also revealed that Stephanie McMahon approached him and told him that she doesn’t want the WWE Hall of Famer to be headbutting any more doors, but his contract ends in two months, so don’t hold this against him as that is what he needs to be him.

This is what Goldberg said:

My relationship with WWE has never been a hundred percent on the up and up because I worked for a company competing against them in the Monday Night Wars, and I had the title right, so I don’t expect them ever to treat me like one of their own. I can’t remember what the point of this story was, but I’ve been hitting the head way too many times, quite obviously, as you can see in real-time……Stephanie [McMahon], if you’re listening to this, my contract ends in two months, so don’t hold this against me.”

“Stephanie came up to me backstage one night, and she said, ‘I heard you’ve been headbutting the doors.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s how I gotta be me.’ She’s like, ‘I don’t want you to be headbutting any more doors.’ I put my head through a lot of things across the country from 94-97, and I guarantee you half of them are still there.”

Goldberg has no matches left on his current WWE deal and he has only competed in one match this year, which was against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber Event. He competed in three match last year and has recently teased working with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
