Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who hasn’t been pinned or submitted since December of 2019 until this past Saturday, and Solo Sikoa took on The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) in a Bloodline Civil War in the main event of WWE Money in the Bank from the O2 Arena in London, England. Reigns and Solo dominated majority of the match until Jimmy Uso, who was locked in tight in the Guillotine choke at the hands of The Tribal Chief, managed to escape and tag Jey Uso in. The referee was inadvertently knocked out of the ring and The Usos would hit Roman with the 1D, but the referee would not be in any condition to make the 3 count.
The Usos were then taken out by Roman and Solo and Roman would stack them and attempt to pin both The Usos, but Jimmy and Jey managed to kick out and Reigns, Sikoa and Paul Heyman were in utter disbelief and shock at what The Usos were able to do. Sikoa was then put through the announcer’s table by Jimmy and Jey Uso and once Jey entered the ring, he was hit with a huge spear by Reigns, but Jey kicked out of the pin and hit Roman with a low blow. The Usos then hit Roman with a flurry of superkicks and Jey Uso hit a huge splash from the top rope on The Head Of The Table to score the massive pinfall victory and be the first person to gain a pinfall victory over Roman Reigns in over 3 and a half years.
There has been no announcement yet or tease of what the main event will be for this year’s SummerSlam Premium Live Event, but Jey Uso getting the massive pinfall victory over Roman could be an indication that The Head Of The Table will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Jey in the main event of The Biggest Party Of The Summer. More updates will be provided as soon as it’s made available.
